J T (Jack) Jones, born 1898, was Crown Staffordshire's Art Director for 30 years, working for 47 years from joining the Company aged 18.
Jack was one of England's leading designers of fine bone china. His most well-known pieces are the exceptionally fine range of birds encompassing everything from bluebirds to budgerigars, large cockatoos to exquisite pheasants. Each piece is highly decorative with exquisite attention to detail not only in relation to the birds but the accompanying floral decoration.
Good condition overall with one small part petal loss on left hand side hence price.
